BACA Fort Worth – Events
The Ft Worth chapter of BACA holds and participates in many events in support of our mission to help abused children. We are available to make presentations at schools, community events, non-profits, governmental agencies and other entities.
For more information on having us present to your organization please contact Tico, our Agency/Community Liaison, at Tico@fw-tx.bacaworld.org.
We also hold a number of events for the children we support that are only open to the children, their siblings and parents/guardians, and ‘cleared’ BACA members. As with all BACA events, security is provided for the protection of these children so they may enjoy themselves within a safe/protected environment. It also allows them to meet and make connections with others who have similar experiences. These events include, but are not limited, to:
Back-to-School – We hold a party for the children as summer ends and they prepare for school. Each BACA child is provided with a variety of school supplies.
Fall Festival – Children and their families enjoy face-painting, bounce houses, food and games.
Holiday Party – We celebrate the holiday season with our children. Gifts are provided, as well as food and games.
Spring Party – Children hunt for Easter Eggs containing candy and prizes. They also enjoy food and games in a park setting.
Kids Camp-Out – This is a state-wide BACA event with hundreds of children and their families enjoying a weekend camping, fishing and enjoying summer.
