As with all organizations, we look to grow and expand within the state. Our goal is to empower abused children however and wherever we can. To this end we are constantly growing and seeking more opportunities.
This week, BACA Texas was honored with receiving the JC Montgomery Child Safety Award from the state of Texas. Several of us were in attendance in the Lt Governors reception room at the State Capital to receive the award from Senator Judith Zaffirini and the Texas office for Prevention of Developmental Disabilities. We had a great time meeting everyone involved with the award, as well as meeting the rest of the award recipients.
Thank you to those that attended!
The 50th anniversary academy of country music awards are coming to DFW in April. The ride includes multiple HD’s, Strokers, concert, etc. and it’s all being done in April (child abuse awareness month) to raise awareness and help out groups such as ourselves.
